Hjunjin Ko (graduate student) has discovered Ga-Cr-Fe phases related to the binary GaCr, GaMn and GaFe phases based on chains (wires) of metal icosahedra. There is an ordering of Cr and Fe atoms according to sites showing large and small local moments.
